What Is Rejuran® Microneedling?
Rejuran® microneedling is a two-step regenerative treatment that combines microneedling with the topical application of a highly purified polynucleotide derived from salmon DNA. Microneedling creates thousands of precise microchannels in the skin’s surface, allowing the solution to penetrate deeply into the dermis where it stimulates collagen and elastin production, accelerates cellular repair, reduces inflammation, and restores the skin barrier.
Who Is A Candidate For Rejuran® Microneedling?
Rejuran® microneedling is safe for all skin types and tones, making it one of the most inclusive regenerative treatments available. It’s best for those with:

The Rejuran® Microneedling Treatment
The Rejuran® protocol at Deluxe Med Spa and Wellness is a precise, sequential process designed to maximize the depth and efficacy of polynucleotide delivery.
The Procedure
The treatment area is thoroughly cleansed, and a topical numbing cream is applied to ensure comfort throughout the session. Once the skin is prepared, our clinician performs the microneedling pass to create thousands of controlled microchannels across the treatment zone. The selected Rejuran® formulation is then applied directly to the skin, where the open microchannels allow the solution to absorb into the deeper layers of the dermis more effectively than surface application alone. The session usually takes under an hour, depending on the treatment area and formulation used.
Customized by Formulation
At Deluxe Med Spa and Wellness, we don’t use a single Rejuran® product for every client. Based on your skin assessment, your clinician will select the formulation or combination that targets your specific skin concerns. Each product in the Rejuran® clinical line has a distinct concentration and active ingredient profile.
Rejuran® Healing Essence
The most concentrated formulation in the clinical line, containing 2% hydrolyzed salmon DNA. It deeply hydrates, promotes cellular renewal, and accelerates the skin’s natural repair processes, making it especially effective for those with a compromised skin barrier or those recovering from more intensive treatments.
Rejuran® I
Specifically formulated for the delicate periocular area. It addresses fine lines, early laxity, and dehydration around the eyes, which is one of the first areas to show signs of skin maturation, with a concentration made for thinner, more sensitive tissue.
Rejuran® Tone Up Booster
Combined with brightening actives, including hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C, glutathione, and tranexamic acid. It’s the formulation of choice for clients dealing with uneven pigmentation and dullness, targeting both structural skin health and surface clarity in a single step.
Rejuran® Skin Booster
Paired with amino acids and hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate and support collagen production, delivering a visibly more elastic, plump, and resilient complexion for clients whose primary concerns are firmness and skin density.
Comfort and Downtime
The treatment is well-tolerated with minimal discomfort. Most clients experience mild redness or pinpoint swelling in the hours immediately following the session, which typically resolves within 24-48 hours.
Rejuran® Microneedling Recovery and Results
Rejuran® microneedling is designed for real schedules. Because it works with your skin’s biological processes rather than aggressively disrupting the surface, recovery is minimal, and results develop progressively over time.
Immediately After Treatment
Expect mild redness and possible minor swelling, which is a normal response to microneedling that typically resolves within 24-48 hours. Most clients return to normal activities the same day. We recommend avoiding heavy exercise, saunas, and prolonged sun exposure for the remainder of the day.
Days 1–7
Skin begins its natural repair cycle. Many clients notice a glow and improved hydration within the first week as the formulation activates cellular regeneration.
Weeks 2–4
Texture, tone, and firmness continue to improve as the collagen synthesis process deepens. Fine lines appear softer, and skin feels more resilient.
Weeks 4–8
The full regenerative effect becomes visible. Skin is noticeably firmer, clearer, and more evenly toned. Scarring and pigmentation concerns show measurable improvement.
Optimal Outcomes
Because Rejuran® works cumulatively, a series of 3-4 treatments spaced several weeks apart is recommended for structural improvements. Single sessions are also available as an add-on to other treatments, particularly laser or RF microneedling, where Rejuran® enhances healing and amplifies results.
