What Is a HydraFacial Treatment?
The HydraFacial is a multi-step, non-invasive facial treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and hydrates the skin in a single session. Unlike traditional facials, it uses a patented Vortex-Fusion delivery system – a specialized handpiece that simultaneously removes impurities and infuses the skin with nourishing serums.
Think of it as a deep cleanse and a hydration boost happening at the same time. The device creates a gentle vortex motion that loosens debris from pores while delivering antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid directly into the skin. The result is a complexion that looks visibly brighter and feels noticeably smoother – immediately after your first session.

Understanding what happens before, during, and after your session helps you feel confident going in.
Arrive with a clean face if possible, and avoid using retinoids or active exfoliants for 24 to 48 hours before your session. Let your provider know about any skin sensitivities or current skincare products you are using.
A standard HydraFacial session takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Your provider will guide the handpiece across your skin in slow, deliberate passes. Most clients describe the sensation as a light, cool suction – comfortable and even relaxing. There is no pain involved.
Your skin will look refreshed and feel hydrated right away. Some clients experience mild, temporary redness that resolves within a few hours. You can apply makeup and go about your day without any restrictions.
Over the next several days, your skin continues to benefit from the infused serums. Pores appear tighter, tone looks more even, and your complexion maintains that post-treatment glow.
For general skin maintenance, many clients schedule a HydraFacial once a month. If you are targeting a specific concern like hyperpigmentation or congestion, your provider may recommend a series of sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. Consistent treatments tend to produce cumulative improvements over time.
For clients interested in deeper skin rejuvenation, Clear + Brilliant laser treatment pairs well with a regular HydraFacial routine to address texture and tone at a more advanced level.

In the Los Angeles area, HydraFacial sessions typically range from $150 to $300 per treatment. Add-on serums or targeted boosters — such as growth factors for anti-aging or salicylic acid for acne-prone skin — may adjust the overall cost.
