What Are JUVÉDERM® & SKINVIVE™?
JUVÉDERM® is a family of FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers, each formulated with proprietary cross-linking technology that determines its viscosity, lift capacity, and longevity. HA is biocompatible and naturally occurring in the body. When injected, it adds immediate volume and structure before gradually metabolizing over time.
SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is a separate product entirely. Rather than adding volume, it delivers HA in microdroplets within the superficial dermis to improve skin hydration, smoothness, and luminosity at a tissue level.

The JUVÉDERM® & SKINVIVE™ Treatment
Every appointment at Deluxe Med Spa and Wellness begins with a thorough facial assessment. We map areas of volume loss, evaluate skin quality, and determine which formulation or combination is appropriate for your anatomy.
The Procedure
A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment. Most JUVÉDERM® formulations contain lidocaine to further improve comfort during injections. Your clinician will use a needle or cannula technique depending on the treatment area and product being placed. Appointments typically take 30-60 minutes.
JUVÉDERM® ULTRA® XC
Soft, flexible gel suited for moderate nasolabial folds, subtle lip volume, and surface line correction in areas requiring natural movement.
JUVÉDERM® ULTRA PLUS® XC
A thicker formulation with greater lift capacity for deeper nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and areas needing more substantial volume correction.
JUVÉDERM® & SKINVIVE™ Recovery and Results
Immediately After Treatment
Both treatments are minimally invasive with a manageable post-treatment response for most clients.
SKINVIVE™ results develop more gradually. While some immediate improvement in skin hydration is noticeable, the full improvement in skin smoothness and texture becomes most visible at 4 weeks and is maintained for up to 6 months in clinical studies.
JUVÉDERM® ULTRA® XC / ULTRA® PLUS XC: Approximately 6 to 12 months
Mild swelling, redness, and possible bruising at injection sites are expected and resolve within a few days. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and prolonged sun or heat exposure for 24-48 hours.
How Results Develop
JUVÉDERM® volumizing fillers deliver immediate results, and volume and structural correction are visible from the moment the product is placed. Once any post-treatment swelling resolves, typically within 1-2 weeks, the final results become clear. Results vary by formulation and treatment zone.
Maintenance: As HA metabolizes, results soften gradually rather than disappear abruptly, making it straightforward to maintain the correction with periodic treatments before the results are fully lost.
