What Is PRP Hair Restoration?
PRP Hair Restoration is a non-surgical treatment that uses platelet-rich plasma derived from your own blood to stimulate dormant or weakened hair follicles. The process encourages your scalp to produce thicker, stronger hair strands over time – without the need for surgery, implants, or prolonged recovery.
Here is how it works. A small amount of your blood is drawn and placed into a centrifuge, a device that spins rapidly to separate the plasma from the red blood cells. What remains is a concentrated serum packed with growth factors – proteins your body naturally uses to heal and regenerate tissue. When this plasma is carefully injected into targeted areas of the scalp, those growth factors signal hair follicles to become more active, extending the growth phase of the hair cycle.

At your appointment
Each session typically takes 60 to 90 minutes from blood draw to final injection. The scalp is numbed beforehand to maximize your comfort during the procedure.

Some mild redness, tenderness, or swelling at injection sites is normal and typically resolves within a few days. You can wash your hair gently after 24 to 48 hours.
Weeks 4 to 8
