The most powerful regenerative materials are often found within your own biology. EZ PRF and EZ Gel are all-natural approaches to volume and texture, using your own blood as the foundation for treatment. Through a precise isolation process, we create custom formulations designed to trigger your skin’s natural healing and collagen production. At Deluxe Med Spa and Wellness, we map out exactly how these regenerative tools fit into your broader skin health journey, building a realistic plan around your anatomy from day one.
EZ PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is a next-generation blood concentrate produced by spinning a small sample of your blood at a low G-force without anticoagulants. This preserves a significantly higher concentration of platelets, leukocytes, and mesenchymal stem cells and allows fibrinogen to convert naturally into a fibrin scaffold. This structural matrix holds growth factors in place and releases them slowly over time.
EZ Gel takes this process one step further. After centrifugation, the PRF goes through a controlled heating and cooling cycle that transforms the liquid concentrate into a gel-like consistency. This gel can be injected directly into areas of volume loss, working similarly to a dermal filler, but made entirely of your own blood-derived growth factors, albumin, and fibrin. No synthetic materials. No foreign substances.
EZ PRF and EZ Gel are well-suited for clients wanting a regenerative, biologically compatible approach to skin health and facial rejuvenation. Because both treatments are from your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction or rejection is almost zero, making them broadly inclusive across skin types and tones. Ideal candidates are typically dealing with:
Under-eye hollowing, dark circles, or loss of volume in the tear trough area.
Fine lines and early laxity in the face, neck, or décolletage.
Overall skin dullness, dehydration, or declining skin quality.
Clients seeking a natural alternative to synthetic dermal fillers.
The EZ PRF and EZ Gel protocols are straightforward in concept and precise in execution. Everything begins and ends with your own blood, which is processed, refined, and returned to your skin in a clinically controlled form.
A small sample of blood is collected, typically 10-26 mL, depending on the treatment area and volume required. This is done using the EZ PRF closed-kit system, which keeps the entire process sterile from collection through processing.
The collected blood is placed into the EZ PRF centrifuge and spun at a lower G-force than traditional PRP systems. This is the critical distinction. High-speed centrifugation aggressively separates cells, eliminating not just red blood cells but also many platelets, leukocytes, and mesenchymal stem cells that drive regeneration. EZ PRF’s low-speed protocol preserves these cells, producing a concentrate that contains up to 10 times the platelet concentration of baseline blood, alongside a clinically meaningful leukocyte and stem cell population.
Unlike PRP, which requires anticoagulant additives to prevent clotting during processing, EZ PRF tubes are 100% additive-free. This matters because the absence of anticoagulants allows fibrinogen, a naturally occurring protein in the blood, to convert into fibrin as the concentrate processes. The resulting fibrin scaffold retains growth factors in the treated tissue and releases them gradually over weeks to months, rather than dispersing quickly as liquid PRP does.
EZ PRF and EZ Gel treatments are minimally invasive with a recovery that fits into a normal schedule for most clients.
Initial swelling resolves, and the growth factor release process begins. Some clients notice improved skin hydration and early luminosity during this first week as the regenerative response initiates.
Mild swelling, redness, and possible bruising at the injection sites are expected and normal. Swelling is often most pronounced in the first 24-48 hours, especially in the under-eye area, where tissue is thin and more reactive. Most clients return to normal activities the same day. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol, and direct sun exposure for 24-48 hours following treatment.
Collagen and elastin production increase as growth factors continue to be released from the fibrin matrix. Skin texture improves, fine lines appear softer, and volume in treated areas begins to settle into a more natural appearance.
The full regenerative effects develop during these weeks. Collagen remodeling matures, skin quality improves measurably in density and hydration, and volume correction from EZ Gel becomes fully visible as residual swelling resolves and new collagen integrates around the gel matrix.
EZ PRF results for skin quality improvement typically develop progressively and can be sustained with a series of treatments. EZ Gel volume correction, when used as a filler alternative, provides results that vary based on the treatment area, the volume of gel injected, and the client’s individual biology. A series of 3-5 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended for optimal cumulative improvements.
